CUNY May Reverse Vote Denying Kushner Honorary Degree (NPR)

The City University of New York's board is meeting Monday, presumably to
reverse its earlier vote to deny an honorary degree to Pulitzer Prize-winning
playwright Tony Kushner. A member of the board of at CUNY had charged that
Kushner was overly critical of Israel. Kushner has criticized some of Israel's
policies, but he says he remains supportive of Israel's right to exist. He has
accused CUNY board members of slandering him.
