And now, an Opposition View (About)

As I've written this blog over the years, I've made positive comments about
initiatives to provide guided tours round sites of historical interest on
ipods and other headphone based devices. I liked the way shrinking media
players could allow people to immerse themselves in learning about a house or
castle, while other people - who might have the knowledge already, or just
want a more visceral reaction - can share the same space. But it appears not
everyone believes this. In the interest of balance, I thought I'd mention this
blog from the Telegraph, where Harry Mount complains about these initiatives,
and pushes for total silence.
